A PIONEERING FORMAT OVER THE BOUNDARIES OF MUSIC AND VIBRATIONS

We use subwoofers and sub-frequencies to interact through the sense of touch. Sub-frequencies are low-frequency sounds primarily perceived by the body rather than our ears. This physical and aesthetic experience triggers a sense that has always been in the background, growing its memories, curiosity, and its language.

Eufonia is an interdisciplinary platform that explores the intersection of art, science, and culture through the medium of sound. Since 2021, we have been promoting compositions and performances by both hearing and deaf artists who harness this innovative medium, generating vibrations that resonate throughout the body, resulting in unique and intense experiences. Our inspiration is drawn from music education and multisensory research, enabling us to establish a novel creative language. After hosting regular events in Lisbon, Berlin, Leipzig, and Köln, we are on the verge of launching sub_bar across the rest of Europe, opening up even more opportunities for connection, creation, and performances.
