Sub_Bar Academy is our program for schools and events. We design music courses and create workshops specifically for subfrequencies, collaborating with local artists and nurturing the next generation of musical talents and educators. Our courses, accessible in local sign languages, cater to both hearing and deaf participants
our course stands out for its innovative approach and the aim to bridge the gap between hearing and deaf individuals' perceptions of music. in our courses, we prioritize co-creation, where participants' curiosity guides the learning process. we have partnered with essential tech sponsors [KORG, Ableton, SubPac, Musikraken] and local artists to ensure one central goal: empowering our participants to express themselves through music they truly connect with.

Berlin, Lisbon & Vienna
Our course are scheduled to run in berlin, lisbon and vienna, spanning a total of 72 hours in each city. Our participants receive Subpac haptic devices, enabling them to feel vibrations interacting with their bodies.
Throughout the course, sign language translation will be available, ensuring effective communication for all. Previous experience in music or art is not a prerequisite for enrollment.
at the conclusion of each of our courses, a group performance will take place in each city as a part of our sub_bar events. here, our participants will have the opportunity to share the stage with other hearing artists, presenting their musical creations and showcasing the full potential of sub_bar. this performance goes beyond being just an art form; it serves as a social glue, bringing together diverse talents and fostering an inclusive and harmonious community.
